Deputy President’s close business ally Harun Aydin has been in custody the entire weekend after he was arrested on Friday evening.

He was arrested by Special officers drawn from the Department of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and Anti-Terrorist Police Unit (ATPU). Harun was arrested on suspicion of being a Terrorist funder.

He was held at the ATPU HQ over the weekend and was reported that the Turkish Citizen was deported early Monday morning.

However, his Lawyer Senior Council Ahmedsair Abdullahi has described exactly what transpired today morning.
Speaking to the press this afternoon, Abdullahi revealed to the press that his client Harun was not deported as the government claimed.

According to him, Aydin was released today at dawn and voluntarily flied out of the country.

The lawyers stated that despite camping early at the courts waiting for his client to be arraigned, he never showed up and later heard of the deportation news.

He has since vowed to challenge the move and sue the state for unlawfully holding his client as a Terrorist.
