Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya Alliance supporters are today having a mass protest against President William Ruto’s government.

 

 

The mass action which has been called by Opposition leader Raila Odinga is met to pressure Kenya Kwanza government to address the hiking prices of commodities and deteriorating state of economy in Kenya.

The busy Thika Super Highway which connects Nairobi CBD and its environs especially Kibra and Mathare areas perceived to be Raila’s strongholds remains clear with no heavy traffic as its always witnessed.

 

 

 

 

In pictures shared on social media, contrary to Kenyans expectations that the always busy road could either be full of protestors or vehicles heading to CBD, remains super clear.

 

Others areas like Ngong Road remains impassable with police and protestors engagingvin chasing battles as they tried to access the CBD.

 

Mbagathi Road, City Hall Road is also said to be full of protestors.

 

Moi Avenue to Uhuru Highway all the way University Way roundabout business are said to have been shutdown with fear of vandalization of their businesses.
