Speaking on Thursday in a joint press conference with the former cabinet secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri and former Gichugu member of parliament Martha Maria, the outspoken legislator revealed that he had long bailed out of the party. He said that he was forced to move following irreconcilable differences with some officials of the party.
“Yes, I was a member of PEP. I even took the party to the Juja constituency by-election which we won. I moved on because we had some disagreements with some members of the party. People move on and it was my time to do so. I am now in Chama Cha Kazi, ” the Gatundu South member of parliament said on Today
The three leaders are keen on creating an alliance they say will be at the forefront of fighting for the interests of the people from the Central Kenya region.
