Kiambu Woman Representative Gathoni Wamuchomba has revealed that she would dump Deputy President if President Uhuru Kenyatta asked her.
Gathoni Wamuchomba who recently joined TangaTanga said she would quickly ditch Ruto for Uhuru abandoned her forcing her to take a detour, adding she still respects and loves the head of state.
Speaking during an interview with Inooro TV, the vocal woman rep said if Uhuru was to call her and ask for her, she would immediately go to him “even if I was seated at DP’s home”.
“If he (Uhuru) picked his phone and called to ask for me, I would go even though I was sitting at DP’s home. I would go because we love him (Uhuru). We respect him, he is our president. He is the one who abandoned us,” she said.
She, however, maintained that she joined Tanga Tanga at the best of her constituents who said they owe Ruto a promise for the presidency.
“Ninety per cent of the people who voted for me in Kiambu told me this is the path that they want.They told me they want me to support the deputy president because they owe his a promise,” she said.
The former radio presenter said it felt bad for Uhuru to ignore her and other counterparts adding that the president only gives his ears to a few selected individuals.
